Cattle prices jump
at Brussels sale
The market at Brussels Livestock
Inc. Friday met a strong demand,
with cows selling from $3 to $4
higher. There were 371 slaughter
cattle and 256 hogs on offer.
Good to choice steers sold from
$87 to $89 with a high of $93.75.

1260 lbs., sold for the top price of
$93.75 per hundred weight. Eigh

Bodmin Farms Limited of RR 5,
Brussels has brought home the
Premier Exhibitor award in the
Shurgain Market Hog Classic at the
Royal Winter Fair.
The Award goes to the exhibitor
with the most points in the various
market hog classes and Bodmin
collected 20 of a possible 23 points
to take the crown.
Bodmin took the Champion Sin
gle award with George Procter also
of Bodmin, having the Reserve
Champion Single. Bodmin won the
