Top children’s entertainer performs at Blyth One of Canada’s fastest rising children’s entertainers, Glenn Ben nett will perform at Blyth Memorial Hall Saturday, November 18, at 2 p.m. as part of the Blyth Festival’s family series. Creative energy, a unique sense of humour and a way of looking at things from a kid’s eye view make Mr. Bennett a popular and versa tile performer who engages inter est and enthusiasm in children of all ages. Kids sit with their tongues hanging out as they hear about the strange eating habits of “Jonathan Edwards the Third’’ or the song, “My Baby Brother”. This Montreal born singer-song- writer began his performing career in front of his grade one classmates and has never looked back. Having started out as a solo performer, Mr. Bennett now performs in concert with the help of the multi-talented “Magic Dragon Band”. Together they put an audience through a non-stop hour full of singing, laughing and even jumping up and down. Mr. Bennett’s songs have a way of appealing to all ages. While Mr. Bennett jokes around with the audience the Magic Dragon Band shows off their musical excellence by switching with ease from blues and country to infectious pop and rock and roll. Glenn Bennett is a familiar and popular entertainer on stage as well as in the recording studio with two records for children “Let's Go on a Safari” and “I Must Be Growing”. Both are collections of original songs and can be heard on Glenn’s new television series “Friends”. “Friends”, which is produced by CFPL-TV in London, is a comedy-music show for kids ages 5 to 12. He also appears on CBC’s popular show “Vid Kids” as well as Disney Channel’s Kaleido scope Concert. Glenn Bennett is the second performance in the Children Fall Series and is not to be missed.
