The message was entitled
“God's Challenge to Us’’ and it
was based on the scriptures Leviti
cus 19, St. John 15 (9-12) and I Cor.
13:13. It centered on the theme of
being a Christian and how it means
living love day by day. Jesus said
that the greatest commandment
was “Love God and Love your
Neighbour’’. All other command

one. To fulfil this from day to day,
Mr. Cowan said that we must be
kind, understanding, take time to
find out what people are like before
we judge them and try to avoid
prejudices. We should take the
time to thank people, compliment
each other and remember a lonely
person at a special time of the year
and invite them to our home. Also
we can offer our time and talents
towards church and community
work.

Mr. Cowan said that one of the
greatest challenges in our daily life
is forgiving one another and trying
not to be angry if someone disa
grees with us. Mr. Cowan said that
we can not do these things if we
don’t have Jesus in our hearts.
