Festival looks for old ^cccfa & 'Dae
brochures for archives
The Blyth Festival donated its
theatre archives last year to the
University of Guelph. With over 15
years of history, the Festival, v/hich
originally began as a summer
festival but has since grown into
much more, has amassed a collec
tion that includes, posters, pro
grams, photos, administrative
files, scripts, technical drawings
and many other items that docu
ment the behind the scenes activi
ties of the theatre.
The Festival is presently looking
for any souvenirs or photos that
could be donated to the archives.
They are particularly looking for
copies of the 1975 season brochure
and ask that anyone who might
have one please contact Jane
Gardner at the Festival Office or
drop into the office personally.
Other theatre featured in the
University of Guelph’s collection
are Shaw Festival, Centre Stage,
Young People, Phoenix Theatre,
Grand Theatre, Open Circle, Thea
tre Plus, Tarragon Theatre, and
