Morris hears request for closing of road allowance Paul Gowing attended the Aug. 1 meeting of Morris Township Coun cil to request that council close Sideroad 25-26 in the North Part of Concession 3. Mr. Gowing stated that there had been numerous accidents on the unopened road allowance and he said he would feel more confident if he owned the property where some of his machinery is placed and some cattle fenced. Council agreed to look at the location and take the matter under further consideration. Building permits were approved to Norm Wattam on Lot 5 of Concession 3 for a steel granary Business and_________ Professional Directory and to Ross Goll of Lot 12 North Part on Concession 2 for a car port. A demolition permit was issued to Doreen Tuplin of Lot 14 North Part of Concession 8 for the removal of two silos. In reply to an invitation, a letter is being forwarded to the Brussels Agricultural Society stating that Reeve Doug Fraser plans to attend the Fall Fair at noon of September 20 for the parade.
