The ideal candi­ date will be ready to relocate to Blyth, be willing to work odd hours and be able to travel. The trainee will receive work experience and professional train­ ing opportunities in: General Accounting; preparing grant applications and follow-up reporting; tour booking and con­ tract negotiations; Box Office and Front-of-House management; publicity, promotion, public and Board relations; fundraising; and general arts management tech­ niques. Our organization is unique in that we are not only producers but also presenters. We produce a 14 week summer season of new Canadian plays, present an Adult and Child­ ren’s series off-season in the fall/spring and offer workshops through the Gallery and Commun­ ity Arts Programming Committees.
