Seniors Day Centre news
June was National Seniors
Month. The motto for this year is
“Tap the Potential’’. According to
Jack Riddell, “the theme has a
doubl message. To seniors it says:
Use your wisdom and experience to
discover new talents and explore
new horizons. It is also a reminder
that seniors are eager to meet new
challenges and share their cre
ativity, enthusiasm and experience
with fellow Ontarians.”
Christine and myself will take
turns enjoying some holidays this
summer. Charlene Conley from
Lucknow, our summer student will
be on hand to assist with operation
of the program. Welcome Aboard

For your information, the Board
of Directors has made a decision to
change the name of the Day Centre

Before I sign off I would like to
share a quote, that I heard at the
recent conference for the Ontario
Home Support Association. The
message was related to change,
“the importance of integrating the
old with the new” in order to
provide a better service. The
speaker said that “the only differ
ence between a rut and a grave is
the depth.” Just a little something
to motivate you into trying some
thing new.
