TIMOTHY HAROLD BOYD Timothy Harold Boyd of RR 1, Gorrie died at Gorrie June 30, 1989 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was 21 years of age. Timothy Harold Boyd was bom in Wingham April 23, 1968. He resided in Gorrie nearly all his life. He attended Howick Central School and with the expert guidance of Bruce Robertson and Dave Shaw he advanced to F. E. Madill in the two-year program. Again with the guidance and encouragement of Mr. Kopas and Mr. Trainor he enrolled in the four-year program and obtained his grade 12 diploma. He worked part time at Campbell Business and Soup from age 16 and full-time even during his grade twelve year at F. E. Madill. In the summer of 1985 Tim was chosen as a Junior Forest Ranger and spent the sum­ mer with the Forest Rangers at Red Lake. In March, 1987 he purchased the farm in Howick Twp. which he farmed with his father. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and each year went on a two-week fishing excursion with his buddies from Campbell Soup. A gentleman he admired very much, the Rev. Donald Pugh, came back to Gorrie to officiate at his service. Pallbearers were his uncles Jim Griffith and Raymond Haugh. His boss Dave Ellis and lifelong family friends, Don Lead­ er, Rat) Breckenridge and Randy Somers. Fin­ KENNETH WAYNE McGOWAN Following a lengthy illness of kidney failure, Kenneth Wayne McGowan of Vienna, formerly of " Blyth, died suddenly July 2, 1989 in Tillsonburg hospital in his 44th year. Beloved husband of Patricia McGowan. He was the dear son of Ella (McGowan) Carter of Blyth and the late Orville A. McGowan (1962). Kenneth was bom in Goderich, Aug. 7, 1945. His early years were spent on Con. 2, East Wawanosh were he attended public school at S.S. No. 10, Clinton High School and Goderich District Collegiate GENERAL J. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by six stepchildren Andrew, Edward and Sylvia of Windsor, Faith, Thomas and '-Leslie of Vienna; step-sister Mildred and her hus­ band Stewart Ament of Blyth; step-brothers Gordon and his wife Lois of Tavistock; Robert and his wife Nancy of Clinton; James and his wife Elsie of Walton and his parents-in-law Mr. and Mrs. John­ ston of Windsor.
