The girls do all their work for the church as a team. Elizabeth said she wanted to take part in S.W.I.M. because she felt it would be a good learning experi­ ence. “It will help me to relate to strangers about Christianity’’, she said. Tanya said she wanted to show other people how she felt about God. Talking to Stangers will be a big part of their experience when they evanglize from door to door in the community. The girls will also help out in Sunday School and Bible School while trying to recruit kids to go to these groups. The girls will also try to get adults to go to the West Sayville Church. Barbara Vanderlei who went on S.W.I.M. last year in Holland, Michigan said they recruited about five members to the church there. We recently went to Toronto on our class trip. We visited the Royal Ontario Museum and Canada’s Wonderland. He was born 67 years ago in wan; Laura and David Roby, South- Ethel, and was educated at S.S. No. 10 Morris and in Ilderton. H served- in the armed forces from Sept. 1942 to Nov. 1945 and was recipient of the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal. He was a-mechanic in early life and later became a farmer. He married the former Betty Wilson of Bluevale in a service in Bala, Ont. on Sept. 29, 1951. They returned to the area in 1953 and Mr. Irwin retired in 1971. Surviving besides his wife are & y wold, Ont.; Charlene Castellan (Wayne Young) Walkerton, Ont. Also surviving are 19 grandchild­ ren and four great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held at the McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Monday, July 3, 1989 with Rev. John Neilson officiating. Interment was in Brandon Ceme­ tery, Belgrave.
