Craig who passed away 10 years ago July 9, 1979. What we could give if we could say Hello Dad in the same old way, To hear his voice, to see his smile And sit and chat with him awhile He mean’t so very much to us, That nothing we could say Can tell the sadness in our hearts, As we think of him each day, So you who have a father, Cherish him with care, For you’ll never know the heart ache, Until he’s no longer there. - Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Don, Marilyn, Deb, Doug and David. 27-lp LEGAL NOTICESL NOTICE TO CREDITORS IN THE ESTATE OF STEWART MACKLIN JOHNSTON LATE OF THE VILLAGE OF BLYTH IN THE COUNTY OF HURON All persons having claims against the Estate of Stewart Macklin Johnston, deceased, who died on or about the 4th day of May, 1989, are hereby notified to forward full particulars of their claims to the undersigned on or before the 14th day of July, 1989, after which date the assets will be distributed, having regard only to the claims of which notice has been received. REAL ESTATE FOR SALE REAL ESTATE FOR SALE Continued from page 5 you are in a business where you deal with children Lieutenant Shep herd feels it is of primary import ance to learn to talk to them. He says that first you must get children to like you and trust you before they will tell you anything of this kind of importance. It is important to be in a relaxed atmosphere and adopt a quiet relaxing tone of voice. It is equally important to remember that child ren have short attention spans and little understanding of space and time concepts. They are very concrete and liberal and adults must come up with strategic ways to get an answer. He cautions parents and others to avoid the word ‘why’ when asking a question, as it tends to sound accusatory. “For example, instead of asking ‘Why didn’t you come downstairs, Jamie? you could ‘ Suddenly it's sold REAL ESTATE LTD. 82 ALBERT STREET CLINTON, ONTARIO. Remember, too, that children will put things in the order of what is important to them, so don’t expect things to follow chronologi cally the way we as adults would prefer it, says Lieutenant Shep herd. The beautiful innocence of our children is precious. For anyone to destroy that innocence and defile that beauty is the worst form of debauchery. We need to do all we can to protect our children from this evil and give them the love and support they need if anything of this kind were to happen. As Lieutenant Shepherd sug gests, “When you go home today, get with a child, talk to him, put your arms around him and give him a great, big hug.” Vandal goes to jail Continued from page 12 saved the administration of justice a fair amount of money.
