She points out that things run smoothly if people can work to gether. She also says to believe in your dreams. “I wish Brussels Public School students and staff much success in their future endeavours.” Kim Blake attended the Univer sity of Western Ontario for three years, acquiring her B.A. She then advanced to Brock University Tea cher’s College where she received her Bachelor of Education. The staff, students, and community have been just wonderful and I look forward to coming back to visit,” states Miss Blake. Margriet Masson has only been at Brussels for one year. Prior to that she attended Florida Southern College from 1982 - 86, then Althouse for one year. She majored in French and minored in Phys.- Ed. Her first year of teaching was at Brookside Public School near Luck now where she taught French full time. This past year in Brussels she taught Grade 3/4 as well as Grades 4-8 French. Mrs. Masson who lives in Strat ford is transferring this year to Milverton Public School to teach French so she can be closer to home. She says that she will really miss everyone in Brussels. “Every body has made me feel right at home,” she stated. While Brussels students and parents are going to miss the familiar faces of Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Huether and the bright perky personalities of Miss Blake and Mrs. Masson, they have five teachers to look forward to. Mrs. Cathy Elliott is coming from Seaforth to teach Grade 2/3 and Miss Christine Clark is coming from London to teach Grade 3/4. Mr. Dale Wanless from Burlington has been hired as School Resource teacher. Two other positions have yet to be filled, one for French and one for Grade 1/2. Brussels bids a fond farewell to the four who are departing and extends a warm welcome to those moving here. CALL CITIZEN CLASSIFIED AT 523-4792 OR 887-9114 24 HOURS A DAY
