A BUS TRIP TO LONDON
by Tina Burkholder
On Monday, June 5, the Grade 6
and 7 classes of Blyth P.S. went on
a bus trip to London.
When they got to London, they
visited the India Archeological
Museum. There, they were taken
to a lecture room where a guide
told them some facts about some of
the things in the museum. They
then split up into two groups. One
group went to make a pipe and a
bowl out of clay. The other group
was told about an archeological dig
that is under way at the site.
Next the grade 6 and 7 students
went to the London Free Press.
Again, they split into two groups.
Some of the things they saw were
the press and the paper that is used

A sliding Winthrop player sees the ball fly past the Blyth second
baseman as he steals second in a game in Blyth June 13. It was a
sign of the times as Winthrop Peewees scored an easy victory
over the Blyth team.
