Blyth Lawn Bowlers plan
for upcoming season
Blyth
The Blyth Lawn Bowling Club
met at the Club House on Wednes
day evening.
Plans were made for the new
season which began on June 5. It
was decided to bowl on Monday
and Wednesday evenings at 7:30
p.m. as usual. The lunch is to
remain the same: coffee and cook
ies on Monday; something special
Wednesdays.
It was decided to have a “New
Members Night’’, June 14 and if it
was rained out then it would be the
following Wendesday.
Lawn Bowling is an excellent
sport for all ages and the club
hopes to interest a few people. Flat
soled shoes are the only thing
necessary. There are extra lawn
