Morris Council donates $500 to Belgrave arena board Following a plea from the Bel grave Community Centre Board for support, Morris Council agreed at their meeting of May 16, 1989 to donate an additional $500 to the board. Linda Hopper and Kevin Pletch, who are the Morris representatives to the Belgrave Community Centre Board attended the meeting to ask for Council’s support. They feel that more maintenance is needed at the Community Centre and the ball park to maintain the facility and see to its general upkeep. They stated that the board was unaware at this time as to whether Business and Professional Directory or not there would be any addition al funding necessary. They said also, that they plan to increase fundraising activities to help cover the costs. Belgrave Kinsmen Club is also willing to donate funds in order to assist with park mainten ance. Council supported the venture and Mr. Pletch and Ms. Hopper agreed to report back to Council on any further details concerning this matter.
