Obituaries MARJORIE JEAN WATT McNALL Marjorie Jean Watt McNall passed away on April 27, 1989 in her 59th year in Clinton Public Hospital. Born in 1931 at the home of George and Rena Watt in Hullett Township, Marjorie attended school at Harlock S.S. No. 6 Hullett. She continued her educa­ tion at Blyth Continuation School. She was married for 38 years to Donald Murray McNall (1951- 1989). Following their marriage they moved to the 13th of Hullett Township, then to Walton, then Blyth, then to highway 4 north of Londesboro. She is survived by her husband and daughters Marlene (Mrs. Vaughn Toll), Marsha (Mrs. Bob Szusz), Christine (Mrs. Roger Moore). She is the beloved daugh­ ter of Mrs. Rena Watt of Blyth and daughter-in-law of Mrs. Mildred McNall of Blyth and dear sister of Irma, Mrs. Russell McBeth of London. She is survived by six grandchildren. She was predeceas­ ed by one son Murray in 1988. Marjorie was a dedicated mem­ ber of the Blyth United Church where she served as an elder for several years. She was active in the U.C. W. and'a member of the choir. She also enjoyed filling in as organist when needed. She was an employee of Sparling’s Hardware and then Sparling’s Propane for 24 years. She was a member of the Londesboro Ladies Bowling League and the Blyth Lawn Bowling Club. Many friends and relatives were received at the Tasker Funeral Home in Blyth on Saturday, April 29 and a private memorial service was held on Sunday, April 30 with Rev. Ramirez officiating. Interment at Blyth Union Cemetery. MISS MAGGIE GRIFFITH Miss Maggie Griffith passed away at Callander Nursing Home on Saturday, April 22, 1989. Miss Griffith was born in Howick Town­ ship October 1, 1900. She was predeceased by four brothers, Wil­ liam, Samuel, Richard and George Griffith and two sisters, Mabie Taylor and Beatrice Adams, also by one niece and nine nephews. Miss Griffith was a life long resident of Howick Township until she moved to Maple Villa Apart­ ments in Brussels in 1981, and to Callander Nursing Home in 1984. She was a faithful member of St. James Anglican Church, Wroxeter, and following the closing of St. James, St. Stephens Anglican Church, Gorrie. Left to mourn her passing are seven nieces and three nephews: Elizabeth McKercher, Jamestown; Millie Nixon, Fordwich; Lenore Wilson, Wingham; Lloyd Griffith, Bluevale; Jeanette Duggan, Stay- ner; Mabie Hoffman, Toronto; Lenore Glen, Lucknow; Raymond Adams, Kitchener; Margaret Mor­ ton, London; and Stewart Griffith, London. Friends and relatives paid their respects at the Gorrie Chapel of L. M. Watts Funeral Home where she rested until Tuesday, April 25. The funeral and committal service was conducted by Rev. Douglas Madge at 3 p.m. Final resting place is Wroxeter Cemetery. JAMES WAYNE LOGAN James Wayne Logan of Toronto died in Toronto on April 30, 1989. He is survived by his mother, Martha Logan of Brussels and three brothers: Douglas of Brama- lea and Jack and David of Debon, Alberta. He was predeceased by his father, Alvin Logan. The funeral is to be held Wed­ nesday, May 3. A graveside service will be held at the Brussels Cemetery at 2 p.m. with Rev. P. Chambers officiating. MRS. HEDWIG LEFOR Mrs. Hedwig Lefor of RR 2, Brussels died April 27, 1989 at Wingham and District Hospital. She was 67 years of age. She is survived by her husband, Peter Lefor and two sons: Nick of Brussels and Peter and his wife Marita of Brussels. Also surviving are six grandchildren and a sister, Helmut Birg of Germany. She was born in Yugoslavia and was a member of the St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church. The funeral service was held on Monday, May 1 from the St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church with Father S. Sohysik officiating. Interment was in Brussels ceme­ tery. Pallbearers were Nick Lefor, Peter Lefor, Herman Lefor, Peter Miller, Duchorm and Terry Lefor. Flower bearers were Mary Lefor and Sue Lefor. JOHN HENRY CLARK John Henry Clark of 17 Mill St. W., Brussels died on April 29, 1989 at Wingham and District Hospital. He was 77 years of age. He was a retired farmer and a member of St. John’s Anglican Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Stella Lillian Clark and one daughter, Kathleen Marie and her husband Jack McWhirter of Brus­ sels. He is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grand­ children and a sister, Mrs. Ella McCutcheon of Berwick, Pennsyl­ vania. He is predeceased by a brother, William Clark and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Alcock and Mrs. Annie Nethery. The funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 2 from the Watts Funeral Home in Brussels with Rev. P. Nunn officiating. Interment was in Brussels cemetery. Pallbearers were Garry McWhir­ ter, Frank Alcock, and Stephen Marks. Flowerbearers were Mark Hodgins and Amanda Pletch. DOUGLAS C. WARWICK Douglas C. Warwick of Owen Sound passed away April 25, 1989 in his 81st year. Born in Brussels, Mr. Warwick moved to Owen Sound with his wife, the former Helen Baeker, in 1941.
