by Michelle Nesbitt and
Andrea Henry
The grade 7/8 students have
been writing limericks in English
class. Everyone had fun making
silly rhymes. Some of the most
popular limericks were:
There once was a lady from Maine
Who owned a faithful Great Dane
She found out in a while
When she was senile
Wayne, the Dane, was more sane.

There once was a dangerous pig
Who ran out in front of a rig
He slipped on his face
And lost the race
And we had to peel the pig off the
rig
