Call to Worship was read alter­ nately followed by the hymn “Sing Ye Praise to the Father’’. The Junior choir sang an anthem. The children’s song was “Jesus Is a Friend” and their story was “Billy and Ben out to Win”. Rev. Snihur gave the Prayer of Approach, followed by the Lord’s Prayer in unison. Martha Daer was in charge of the devotional period. The scripture portion was from Acts 10, verses 1-21 which was read alternately. The meditation was entitled Global Education of Peter followed by prayer. The study was given by Frances Clark on the Life and Talents of Frances Ridley Havergal who wrote several hymns, one of which was entitled “Take My Life and Let It Be”. The next meeting will be at Martha Daer’s home. 6 tables at weekly Auburn euchre The weekly Auburn euchre party was held on Tuesday, April 11 with six tables in play. Winners were: high lady, Mar­ tha Daer; low lady, Erma Cart­ wright; high man, Raymond Boyle; low man, Ted Mills; novelty, Anne Giousher. Euchre parties are held every Tuesday evening at the Community Hall at 8 p.m. Weston of Toronto. Mrs. Bonnie Armour of Waterloo spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jardin. William Anderson of Newmarket was home to help celebrate his father’s 80th birthday.
