The April meeting of the Presby
terian Women’s Missionary Society
was held at the home of Viola
Raithby.
Martha Daer was in charge of the
devotional period. The scripture
portion was from Acts 10, verses
1-21 which was read alternately.
The meditation was entitled Global
Education of Peter followed by
prayer.
The study was given by Frances
Clark on the Life and Talents of
Frances Ridley Havergal who wrote
several hymns, one of which was
entitled “Take My Life and Let It
Be”. The next meeting will be at
Martha Daer’s home.

The weekly Auburn euchre party
was held on Tuesday, April 11 with
six tables in play.
Winners were: high lady, Mar
tha Daer; low lady, Erma Cart
wright; high man, Raymond Boyle;
low man, Ted Mills; novelty, Anne
Giousher.
Euchre parties are held every
