Catherine McKnight representa tive of the hospital board, who replaced Mrs. Patricia Carrier, extended the hospital’s thanks for the Christmas decorations put up throughout the hospital. Committee reports were given. In the gift shop many knitted items were made by enthusiastic knitters and crib quilts were a work ofcart. The shop was attended by Auxiliary members and sales were good. Articles are displayed nicely, and the shop is very attractive. Library and magazines chairman, Mrs. Ruth Band, has been pleased with the response for magazines, but would like to clarify our request for clean, current magazines. For pa tients and visitors enjoyment the committee would like magazines that are no older than three months. In this way articles read are up to date and interesting to those who are reading them. The guest speaker was Barbara Hicks, Program Co-ordinator for Community Living - Central Huron. She showed a video called “Break ing Through”, a well-documented story of two persons with mental handicaps.
