A day centre facility for older and handicapped adults, offering social, physical, educational and emotional support to enable homebound individuals to remain in their own homes. A private and confidential service which provides counselling on problems of a financial, personal or family nature, etc. Originally intended as a “hot-line” for rural families in distress, the Ministry will accept calls from others as well who have “no where else to turn”.
