Church, Teeswater, were marked
with white satin bows and bronze
means and the church decorated
with baskets of white- and bronze
mum on November 4th for the
wedding of Lois Carolyn Jarvis, of
Wingham, daughter of Mr, and
Mrs. Boner Jarvis, of Teeswater,
arid Sandy DeVries, of Brussels,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob DeVries,
Rev. Mr. Terpstra, of Listowel, per-
formed the double-ring ceremony.
Mrs. R, H. King played tradition-
al music and accompanied the solo-
ist, Miss Dorothy Donaldson, who
sang " Perfect Love" and "Wedding
Prayer,"
Entering the church on the arm
of her father, the bride looked -love-
ly in a floor-length gown of Chan-
tilly lace over taffeta with bouf-
fant skirt, the bodice featuring a
sabrina neckline and long lily-point
sleeves. Her veil was held by a
tiara of crystals and rhinestones
and she carried white Shasta
daisies, red rose buds and Ivy.
Red velvet street-length dresses
were worn by the attendants, Miss
Dianne Foxton, Wingham, maid of
honor, and Misses Jo-Ann and Con-
nie Foxton of Wingham, as brides-
maids. The dresses had full skirts,
scoop necklines and three-quarter
sleeves. They wore red hand head-
dresses and carried white Shasta
daisies.
The groom's attendant was Randy
DeVries, of Brussels, and the ush.
ers were }Claes DeVries and Billy
Jarvis.
The guests were received in the
church parlors following the cere-
mony where white bells and bronze
mums had been used for decoration.
The bride's mother wore a dress of
loden green organza and lace over
taffeta with brown accessories and
the groom's mother was attired in

top place with the Hydro team.
Hydro defeated CKNX 5-2 with
Ian IVEcLaurin of the latter team

Bill Crawford, Bob Rintoul and
Barb Pickford were in charge of
the 29 boys of Pack B who attend-
ed the meeting at the -Scout Hausa
last Thursday night, and conducted
'the usual opening ceremony,

of street and alley, a rooster fight,
and a game entailing imitations.
Bill Crawford instructed the Ten-

Bauer and Paul Templeman passed
the tests.

charge of the opening exercises of
the Belgrave Wolf Cubs' regular
meeting held on Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Gordon McBurney instructed
the beginners and they welcomed
a new chum, Keith Black. Mrs.
lvteleurney encouraged the boys to
see who could he first in obtaining
his First Star,
Mrs. Harold Vincent taught the
boys knot tying, and Mrs. Clare
VanCarrip instructed and gave a
test on semaphore signalling. Mrs.
Wheeler awarded Billy Snowden
his First Star. Congratulations,

a new song. Games were enjoyed
and the meeting closed with the
