BELGRAVE— The regular meet- ing of the Evening Auxiliary of the Woman's Missionary Society of Knox United Church was held on Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. William Coultes, Mrs. Clifford Logan opened the meeting with, a hymn followed by the Lord's pray- er in unison, Mrs. Kenneth Barbour read the minutes and roll call in the ab- sence of Mr& Clarence ' Hanna, Mrs. James R. Coultes gave the financial statement. There were two home and 20 hospital visits to sick and shut-in recorded. Cards of thanks were read from Mrs. Clifton Walsh and Mrs. Garner Nicholson, A $10.00 donation was. made to the Children's Aid •Society at Goderich. Members were reminded of the SeCtional 'm'eeting —to —b-e field in Belgrave on October 26, • Mrs. James R. Coultes and her group were in charge of the pro- gram, opening with Mrs. Coultes reading "Our Church and Our Community", followed by a hymn and prayer. Mrs. Laura Johnston and Mrs. Sam Pletch read from the study book, "Signs of the Sixties". Mrs. Ted Fear read from the other study book, "Hasten the Day", the story "Outside the Structure". A capacity crowd of parents, friends and other inter- ested persons was in attendance to hear the recitations, public speak- ing and the spelling match.
