This game marked the end of ball season for the boys. In all, six teams consisting of about 60 boys took part in Little League action this year. Starting next Saturday the Little League football gets under way with the Lions facing the Colts. Ron Deyell led the Yankees with 4 hits while scoring 4 runs. Joe Vanstone and Sohn Douglas each had 2 hits and scored 3 runs each. Norm MacLennan, Bill Taylor and Bob Crewson all contributed a hit to the attack. Tom Deyell and Doug Vyse had 2 bits apiece for the Indians and scored 2 runs. Doug Elliott and Ward Harrison both scored runs for the. Indians, Int. L'A' Championship Lost to Tara Team The Wingham Sunocos journeyed up to Desboro on Wednesday night of last week and went down to de- feat by a score of 2-1 against the Tara Millers. This eliininates the Sunocos said gives Tara the WOAA Intermediate 'A' championship. Bill Underwood did the pitching chore for Tara and held the vis- itors to four scattered hits and struck out 12 hatters. Hugh MacMillan, pitching for the Winghatn squad, also pitched a fine game, allowing six hits.
