In the first period the recruits arid several other men Were given their M test by Captain Vegan. This test is designed to place the recruits, in positions to which they may apply their skills, The drivers replaced the batter- ies in the trucks and had an en- joyable time blowing the horns to test the electrical circuit. The gun- ners had gun drill in the gun shed with. Sergeant Meurs in charge. The secone period was spent on instruction by Gunner J. Wild on the FN rifle, the semi-automatic weapon used by all NATO forces. The third 'period gave the men an opporttinity to see the National Survival training they have been practicing in action, An excellent film was shown on the ;lye stages of rescue, from the removal of sur- face casualties to the systematic search, which dramatically illus- trated the proper method of rescue. The dismissal parade was •taken by Major R. P. Ritter, He reminded the drivers of the impending trade tests on March 5th. These tests, if passed, Will qualify the drivers.
