former Margaret Elliott, passed
away on Sunday in a Hamiltqn
hospital. She had been ill for
some time.
She was born at the brickyard
at the north end of town, where
the nursing home is today, She
was a, daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs. •James Elliott, one of a family
of •twelve children, A brother,
Frank. of Sault Ste. Marie is the
sole survivor of the Elliott family,
She attended Gilmour's school
and married. Robert Cruickshank
of Wingham and they lived in town
for about five years after their
Marriage. 'They moved to Dundas
and later to Hamilton,

Dr. William James Fuller, 73
brother of Howard Fuller, Wing-
ham, 'died at Guelph at the week-
end,
Born in Logan Township near
Mitchell, Dr. Fuller practised den-
tistry in New Liskeard for -35
years. He retired to Mitchell 12
years ago.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Isabel McCallum; three
brothers, Howard, Wingham; Clif-
ford, Logan Township and Harry,
Mitchell; and two sisters, 'Mrs.
Milton Jordan and Mrs. Robert
Watt, both of Mitchell.
Funeral service was held et
Mitchell on Tuesday afternoon
with burial at Woodland 'Cemetery,
Mitchell.

WANTED Mrs. Forsythe Was
Born in. Wingham
Mrs, Sheldon Forsythe, the form-
er Edith Irene Campbell. died in
the St. Thomas-Elgin Hospital on
Sunday. She had been in poor
health for several months, ,but was
not confined to- hospital until 'the
previous Thursday. She was 43
years of age.
Born in Wingham, she was. a
daughter of John P. Campbell and
the late Mrs. Campbell, She re-
ceived her education here, going to
St. Thomas 28 years ago, at the
time of her marriage.
She is survived by her husband,
her father and step-mother, Mr.
and Mrs. John P: Campbell, Wing-
ham; one daughter, Mrs. Paul
Slaght, of St. Thomas; three grand-
children, three brothers, Stan and
Parker Campbell, Wingham-; Ches-
ter Campbell, St. Thomas; and
three sisters, Mrs. Violet Robert-
son and Mrs. Jack Gorbutt Sr.,
Wingham, and Mrs. Ray Kees°,
Listowel, One brother, Albert, died
in Kitchener a year ago.
Service was held at the Williams
funeral home, St. Thomas, at two
o'clock Tuesday afternoon with in-
terment ie. the St. Thomas Calle-
tory.

Death occurred on January 18 of
a native of Howick Township,
Bertha Lowrie Kay, a resident of
Toronto. She was 52.
Bertha Lowrie was a daughtek of
James Lowrie, whose father was a
pioneer of Howick, residing on the
B Line, and her mother, Mary
Barton, was a daughter of Gust
Barton, of the Belmore area. For
several years they lived at Gorrie
and then moved to Millbank, where
her father was killed in a runaway
accident. Her meatier died in 1937:

family in recent Months, her broth..
et, Milton, veterinary surgeon and
meat inspector for REA, having
passed away-in Charlottetown, She
is Survived by four sisters, Mrs. 1
B, (Elizabeth/ Smith, Mrs; Olive
Reach, Miss Harriet Lowrie, of
Toronto, and Miss Marg. A, L5W-
tie, of /relaed, There are five bra-
theta, Drs. H. A, and V. L. Lowrie,

Bertha Lowrie was devoted to
her profession as a nurse and 'often

St. Catharines'
Mrs. L. S. St, George, 'mother of
Bruce St. George, Winghain, passed
away suddenly at the St, Catharines
General Hospital on Monday, after
a, brief illness.
The former Lillian Clara Reid,
Mrs, St. George was born at Sault
Ste. Marie, Mich., but had resided
in St. Catharines for the past 55
years. She was a member of the
United Church,
She is survived by her husband,
her son truce and two Baugh-
children in Wingham, as well as
