BELGRAVE-On Tuesday even-
ing of last week, the Belgrave
Wolf Cubs met in the arena hall
for their regular meeting, Mrs,
Kenneth Wheeler was in charge
along with three assistants. There
'Were 33 boys present,
After inspection and the Grand
Howl and the Cub prayer, the boys
were sent to their sixes to make
a play of one of the safety- rules
and the other sixes had to guess
it, Mrs. Gordon McBurney led a
game called-'Brothers" which was
pretty lively. Mrs. Bud Orr taught
semaphore signalling to the group,
after which Mrs. Vincent led a
game on compass work, This was
. followed by a game of Cat and
Mouse.
The Cubs are now reading The
Second Jungle Book and they
find it very interesting. The first
Part, was read by Mrs. 'Orr, Alan
Carter got his collector's badge.
The meeting closed with ,Taps. One
of the leaders, Mrs. Clare Van-
Camp, is -away to Florida and the
group missed her at the meeting.

and Mrs. Clifford Logan,
Mr. and Mrs. Clare Van-Camp
left last Tuesday from London by
bus for Punta Gorda, 'Florida, to
spend a couple of weeks with their

ELECTS OFFICERS
BELGRAVE. • - Knox United
Church Sunday. School -held its an-
nal meeting in the church on Mon-
day ehning of last week with a
.good attendance. Ross Anderson,
superintendent, was chairman, and
Rev. J. H. Anderson, opened the
meeting with -Scripture and. prayer.
The secretary, • George Michie,
read the minutes of the last annual
meeting, and the treasurer, Bill
Coultes, gave the financial state-
ment. During the business period
it was decided to hold, a•crokinole
party on January 27. It was -decided
to join AVEL (audio, visual, edu-
cational library-) for the year.
Through this any organization in
the church. can procure - films and
sound strips ter their meetings..
The Sunday School anniversary
and- flower Sunday will be held on
either the "first or second . Sunday
in june with 'George. Johnston
named convener of the committees.
