count, Mrs. Lewis Cook and Ro-

London on Monday afternoon to
attend the funeral of the late
Charles T1 -Sears, who died in-Vic-
toria Hospital on Friday.

left on Monday for a vacation in

left on Monday to spend the winter
at Corpus Christi, Texas.
-We are sorry to report that
Mr. Hugh Carmichael is a patient
in St. Joseph's Hospital, London,
where he was admitted last week.
-Mr. Joseph Tiffin is a patient
in Byron Sanitorium. It is hoped
that he will be able to return home
in the near future.
•--Mrs. N. T. McLaughlin was in
Oshawa on Friday to attend the
funeral of -her brother-in-law, Mr.
L. F, McLaughlin.
--Mr. Michael McPhail returned
to Wingham the latter part of the
week after spending three weeks
over the Christmas holidays with
his family at Costa Mesa, Calif.
