with Farrier and Gillespie relatives
here. Mrs, J. G. Gillespie, who had
been visiting at Sarnia, returned
home.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Coultes and
Diane spent Sunday at the home of

and Mrs. Albert Coutles entertained

home on Monday night.
Mr. and Mrs, Robert Soloman
and children spent Sunday at the
home of her mother, Mrs. Albert
Clayton, of Grand Valley.
Mrs. W. J. Watt had the mis-
fortune to fall at her home on Fri-
day, breaking the door of the china
cabinet, and cutting her head on
the glass.
Mr. and Mrs. Carman VVhytock
visited with her parents, Mr, and
Mrs. Everett Parker, of Formosa,
on Sunday.
Mrs. George 'Fisher attended the
funeral of her uncle, the late
James Needham, who passed away
in his ninety-second year, follow-
ing a stroke at his home in Ripley.
The funeral was held from the Mc-
Lennan funeral home, Ripley, to
Kincardine cemetery. Mr. and Mrs.
Fisher and family spent Sunday
with Mr. and Mrs. Tobi Jantzi, of
Milverton,
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Laidlaw
and family, of London, and his
mother, Mrs. James Laidlaw, spent
the week-end at the home of Mr.
and Mrs, Elroy Laidlaw and with
Lucknow relatives.
Mr. Robert Hutchison was able
to return to his home here on Fri-
day, after spending the past two
months in Victoria and Wingham
hospitals. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Daw-
son and Arnold, of Belgrave, spent
Christmas at the Hutchison home,
Mr. and Mrs. Ross Smith and
Kathy, of Toronto, spent the week-
end with Mr. and Mrs. Russel
Chapman and with Wiingtha,m rela-
tives.
The pupils of S. S. No. 9, East
Wawanosh, and their teacher, Mrs.
George Fisher, presented their
Christmas concert in the school
last Wednesday night to a full
house. Mr. Robert Scott was chair-
man for the occasion and all en-
joyed the concert of drills, chorus-.
es, dialogues and other musical
nurnbers, Santa came and distribu-
ted a heavy load of gifts from the
tree, and the ladies of the section
served a bountiful lunch.

service in the Presbyterian Church
here on Sunday. The Sunday School
awards will be given out at the
morning service on Sunday.

Mr. Dan McGregor, who was
raised in the home of the late Mr.
and Mrs. James McGregor, of
Langside and Whitechurch, passed
away after an operation in the
Hamiota, Man., hospital on Decem-
ber 9th, in his 77th year. His wife
predeceased him some years ago.
He often used to visit with rela-
tives in this district, He leaves a
married family in Manitoba.

Graham, of London, in Knox United
Church at 2 p.m. on Saturday, and
the reception in Hook's Restaurant

Graham, home on Wednesday.

thirtieth wedding anniversary. Miss
