On Wednesday evening of last
Week Slim Boucher and the Golden
Preirle Cowboys played for a con-
cert at the Bruce County Home in
Walkerton, Included with the band
were the Heywood. family, 'Christ-
mas carols were, a. part Of the
program, which was greatly enjoy-
ed by the residents of the home.
Thanks were expressed by the sup-
erintendent of the home, Russell
Wyles, Lunch and coffee were
served at the conclusion of the
evening,
The music for the occasion was
provided by the co-operation of to-
ted 418 of the American Federation
of Musicians at Stratford through
a grant from Music Performance
Trust Funds and is an extension of
a program of public service orig-
inated by the Recording arid
Transcription Fund of the Anted-

Mrs. Roy Kennedy returned
home Saturday from Palmerston
Hospital where she had been con-
fined the past ten days suffering
from a fall through a trap door in
the barn at their farm on the 6th
