JUVENILES LOSE
TO ARTHUR
Wingham. Juveniles, this town's
second highest entry in the West-
ern Ontario Athletic Association,
are under way.
Under the direction of ream
manager Bill Lee, the local entry
blew the lid off their 60-61 schedule
Tuesday' night in the local arena
against Arthur and are presently
preparing for their second outing
againit Atwood in Milverton next
Tuesday.
Grouped with vvingnarn are ral-
merston, Arthur, Mount Forest and
Atwood to form a comfortable
five team setup. Each club is en-
gaged in an eight game schedule
and must supply one referee for
each game they participate in.
As far as the Wingham club is
'concerned, two of their games will
be played in December. The re-
maining six are in January. All
home games for Atwood will be
played in the Milverton arena.
Club Taking Shape
Manager Bill Lee reports that
close to 20 youngsters are vying
for positions. Many of this year's
juvenile entry will be niade up of
over-age midgets. One snag in the
jtivenile entry so far this season
is the fact that four of the better
players, still in juvenile age, are
'Playing with the local junior "D"
entry. However, Murray Kerr, Gary
Templeman, John Fry and George
Skinn, the four involved, have
promised to drop back and help
the juveniles out.
Goaltending duties will be shared
by young Wayne Riehi and Mal-
colm McKay, Centre Don Lee with
'wingers Doug Spry and Hugh Mc-
Donald form a line to go with the
trio participating in both junior
and juvenile ranks. A third line
along with the defence isn't defi-
nitely set.
The local youngsters would cer-
tainly appreciate your support at.
the gatit. Drop down and see them
play, You'll be glad you did!
