Christmas lesson was read and a hymn was sung. - Mrs, Torn Armstrong gave a Christmas • reading, "The Wise Men and Herod". Mrs. Charles Jefferson gave a reading, "The Night the Wise Men Were Warn- ed". After singing "Silent Night" a candle-lighting service was held.. Susan Thompson received the offering and Mrs. Robinson closed the meeting with prayer. The Ladies' Aid was in charge of Mrs. Wesley Jefferson, who -chose Christmas carol singing instead of the usual program and prayer closed f the meeting. The election of officers for the earning year took place. A bazaar was held at the close of the meetings which provided the Ladies'- Aid with a nice sum of Money, Lunch was served by the hostess, assisted by Mrs. lames Leddy and Mrs. William Hardy.
