at Galt Hospital since graduating
from Stratford General. Hospital
earlier this year, rceeiving her cer-
tificate as a registered nurse last
week. Ronnie received' her, eleinew
tary education in Wroxeter while
residing with her grandmother,
Mrs. Elizabeth Hoffman.. She at,
tended high school in Clinton, be.
fore entering the Stratford hospital
for training as a nurse.

To Furnace Fund
WROXETER—Mrs, Harvey Mc-
Michael and 'Mrs. George Gibson
were in charge of the Woman's
Association meeting, in the United
Church on Tuesday"'of last week.
The hymn "0, Word of God, In-
carnate", and a prayer opened the
meeting. A Poem, "God's Gifts"
and Scripture were read. Mrs.
McMichael gave the commentary
and Mrs. Gibson read an article,
"Religion on a Cash Basis".
Fourteen members and twp vis-
itors answered the roll call` and
'Light of the Lonely Pilgrim's
Heart" was sung.
Mrs'. Ewart Clarke extended an
invitation to her home for an eve-
ning meeting on Dec. 1.3th, when
she will be assisted by Mrs. Har-
vey Coupla,nd in arranging the
program. The Bell money is to be
taken to that meeting.
Mrs. William McLean Will see
to, replacing carpet in the church,
where the aid registers were lo-
cated. A vote was taken and $400
will he given to the furnace fund,
Mrs. McMighael and Mrs. Gibson
were appointed as the catering
committee.
Following the Mizpah benedic-
tion the ladies quilted and lunch
was served.

days with her daughter, Mrs. Clar-
ence White, Mr. White and family,
Brussels.
We are sorry to hear Mrs. Allan
Adams Is a patient in the Wing-
barn Hospital, with pneumonia and
Pleurisy..
Recent visitors with Mrs. E.
Hoffman were Mr. and Mrs, Jack
Wilson and Dale of Port Rowan,
Mr. an d Mrs. Elgin Hoffman, Mr.
and Mrs, Bill Sutherland and Dor-
een of Clinton,
Mr, and Mrs. Robert Cathers of
Merrickvjile were week-end guests
of the latter's parents, Mr. and
Mrs, Stan Gallaher. •

Mrs. Doris Adams and Mr, and
Mrs. Harold Townsend were among
those who attended the Royal Win-
ter Fair in Tpronto last Thursday.
Mrs, J. E, Clarke and children of
Gorrie are spending some time in
Brownsville, at the home of Rev.
Cla.rke's mother, who has just re-
turned home from the hospital.

Elva and Evelyn Tinnier were in
Kitchener one day last week,
Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Rrissell Walker were Mr. and Mrs,
Kenneth Walker, Galt, and Mr.
and Mrs. Wilfred Weppler and Mr.
and Mrs. Thayler, Chesley.
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hart and fam-
ily, Listowel, were„ week-end visit-
ore with Mr. and Mrs. William
Hart. Sunday visitors at the same

Queen pf Kingsville and Mrs. An-
gus Carmichael of Goderich.
We are pleased to report that
Mr. J. C. (Jack) Gibsen, who has
been a patient in St. Joseph's Hos-
pital, London, for the past two
weeks, is irtproving, IVIrs. Herb
Patterson, a patient ill Wingham
Hospital, is also progressing nicely
and we hope they rriay soon return
home completely Well.

Mowbray, Kitchener.

tors with Mr. Wallace Toman in
the Kitcherier-Waterloo Hospital
