Outstanding players on the Wing- ham team were Fuller, who inter- cepted two would-be touchdowns for Seaforth; Carmichael, who made many first downs for the Mustangs with. his hard-driving pitch-outs; and Howard, who scor- ed a touchdown and ran a convert. Carmichael also kicked a single and ran a touchdown. MacDonald broke through the Seaforth de- fence to score Wingham's third touchdown on a hand-off. Wingham's game was interrupted by many offside penalties, while the Golden Bears had difficulty in gaining yards. The final score was: Wingham 20, Seaforth 0, With this victory, Wingham is almost assured of the North Huron Secondary School sociation championship. --by John Strong. P s. N E Ladies' -Bowling Competition 'at -the local bowling alley got. under way again last Wednesday night as the ladies sat around and shot the 'breeze. and threw the odd bowl. As the evening ended,- it left the first four teams with only five points separating them, so the race - was tightened considerably. Hilda 'Parkinson, of the - Tired Tigers, bowled a 23$ single, making her tops in that department. Ruth Thompson, of the Krazy Kats, had the best triple of the evening with a 573 score. The standings at the end of four weeks' bowling show the Zooming Zebras in frist place with• 12 pts, They are. closely followed by the •Krazy Katz with -11, ,pts., and the, • Tired Tigers with -10aThe 'Slippery. .have :slid into 'fourth- .place. with 7 pts.
