BELMORt The Women's Missionary Society meeting of Belmore United Church was held on October' 19th at the honie of the president, Mrs. Harry Mulvey. Mrs. Joe Simmons was leader' and opened the meeting with prayer, which was followed by the hymn, ,"0 for a Thousand Tongueeto Sing"; then all joined in repeating the general thanks- giving prayer. The leader discussed party planning, party themes, party decorations, table decor:el:ions, games, introduc- tions and party guests, Marjorie Kieffer and Mary Elliott demon- strated the making of Swedish tea' cakes. Mrs, Appleby demonstrated the making of cocoa. Mrs, Kieffer then showed the girls the method of making a chip dip. The foods- demonstrated were served arid en- joyed by the members.
