Leslie Elder of Seaforth was the preacher for the 79th anniversary of the Pres- byterian Church on Sunday morn- ing and evening. There was special music by the ,choir and Gordon Leggett of Wingham was soloist at both services. The pastor, Rev, W. J. S. Mc- Clure, was in charge of the evening service. Mr. Elder's aubiect was "The Supremacy of Jesus". His text was from Luke 11132, "And behold, a greater than Jonas is here." He said, "If Jesus was supreme in the hearts of all people the world's troubles would be at an end." Mr. Leggatt sang "If I Have Wounded Any Soul Today". Miss Corinne Rhame was at the organ.
