Belgrave school Fair Again
Features Outstanding Exhibit
Pupils of 18 rural schools, from
four townships in North Huron,
marched in the school parade Wed-
nesday afternoon at the 40th
annual Belgrave School fair. Music
for the parade was provided by the
local Belgrave Pipe Band.
The Public school systems of
East Wawanosh, West Wawanosh,
Morris and Hullett were represent•
ed in the Fair, which maintained

showing of bacon hogs, in svidttion
to the livestock shown in the
regular school fair Classes, The
swine club show was judged by
Robert McMillan of Seatorth.
Walter Bacon, R.R. 1, Belgrave,
was given first prize for hie entry
in the swine show; and Murray
Coultas, 21.11, 5, WIngham, took
first prize for showmanship. The
'placing of hogs gave second prize
to Murray Coultes; third to Brian
Sproul, R.R. 3, Auburn, and fourth

prize went to Dorothy Howatt,
R.R. 1, Belgrave; third to Jean
Bacon, R.R. 1, Belgrave and fourth

THE POULTRY EXHIBITS at the Belgrave School Fair drew a, good
deal of interest, Mary Edith and Bill Garniss of No. 7 school, Morris,
look over a couple of geese in the above picture.
SPORTS WERE PART of the fun at the Belgrave School Fair. Shown
above is the three-legged race for girls. Other events included a
number of races, baseball .throw, and slipper throw, all of which pro-
vided plenty of fun. The lower picture is the hall exhibit of S.S. No. 6
Morris.
