Don't Count on Grass Alone to Do the Job WINGHAM LANDMARK DEMOLISHED IN DAY The B-A Service station operated by Bert Armstrong on Josephine Street fell before the blows of a power shovel in a matter of a few short hours on Tuesday, when the building was wrecked to make way for a modern building on the same location. The upper photo shows the shovel at work as it bashed in another section of the building shortly be- fore noon on Tuesday. By mid- afternoon the structure was com- pletely down, and as shown in the lower photo, was only a pile of rubble. After wrecking, the twisted and broken pile of wood, masonry, glass and metal was shovelled up and deposited in dump trucks for haul- ing away. Most was used as fill behind the Charles Hoclgins pro- perty on Josephine Street South. The British American Oil Com- pany will erect a modern building on the property, shortly. The busi- ness will continue to be operated by Mr. Armstrong. In the interval Mr. Armstrong has brought in a trailer to act as his cffice until the new structure is completed and will continue to sell gasoline as usual. -.111111111111111111111111111111111111111ll1112111 1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111N111111111IllillE11111111E111111113111311111N111111111111111111111111 U U a a a U 1-1 SLASHED C • • r is Your Cha TO MAKE ROOM FOR 1961 MODELS HURON MOTORS HAS S By feeding SHUR-GAIN Supplement "A"' while your herd is on grass, and especially if the pastures are getting short and burnt, it may be possible for the herd to obtain greater feeding value from the pasture.
