Rev. A. F. Gardner officiated and the pallbearers were Art Forster, John Topham, Harold Foster, Ernie D'Arcy, Earl Moore and Bruce Armstrong. Interment was in Gorrie cemetery. Mr. Galbraith was 62. He had been ill for seven weeks, suffering from a-broken leg and strokes. He was born in Howick Township on June 30, 1898, and was a son of the late Edward and Sarah Galbraith, He attended S.S. No, 5 school in Howick and later took up farming. He married Verna Dinsmore of Fordwich, on April 29, 1926, the ceremony being held in Gorrie, He was a member of the United Church and the Loyal Orange Lodge. Mr. Galbraith is survived by his wife, a son Cecil of Guelph; five brothers, Isaac of Kisby, Sask., Jack of Kenville, Man., George of Wroxeter, Anson, Gorrie and Law- rence of Harriston and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Corbett of Gorrie and Mrs. Emma Williamson, Fordwich, One son, McCausland Edward pre- deceased him.
