Fielding re- turned home last Thursday after spending the past two weeks as the guests of the latter's brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Peter and Mrs Bissett, in Castro Valley, Calif. They were joined -by Mr. and Mrs, J. M. Bissett, of Hamilton, during ,the first week, and all enjoyed touring the San Francisco-Oakland area and visiting with nephews and nieces. Sweet peas and trailing ivy, were used as table decorations. Receiving the guests, the bride's mother wore a sheath dress of cornflower blue embroidered or- ganza, with -beige accessories. Mc was assisted by the groom's mo- ther in a lilac sheath dress of Chantilly lace with champagne ac- cessories, The bride's travelling costume was a brown organza dress over taffeta. The bodice was shirred and the skirt Was full. She wore olive green accessories and -a cor- sage of yellow roses. Mr. and Mrs. Crawford left on a trip to Northern Ontario. They will make their home in Wingham. L. I.Vightman of Blyth, and Kenneth Allan Crawford, son of Mr, and Mrs, J. Leonard Crawford of Wingham. The ceremony was per- formed at 2.30 p.m. by Rev, Dr. R E. Vipond, assisted- by Rev. R, E. MeLagan, Miss Claire Taylor of Blyth sang "OS Perfect Loves" and "The Lord's Prayer" and "Wedding Benedic- tion". She was accompanied by Kiss Margaret Jackson, who wsa the organist. Stan Hiseler, brother-in-law of the bride, gave her in marriage. The wore a white organza and ,hantilly lace gown, featuring a fitted bodice and lily-point sleeves, with a bouffant skirt falling• into. a chapel train, Her finger-tip veil of French illusion was held in place by a cap of seed pearls and se- iprins. 'She -carried a cascade /tote 411et of white Sweetheart roses and stephanotis with ivy streamers, MiSs Susan Wightman of Blyth, was her sister's maid of honor, wear. ing a street-length dress of 'white organza over mauve taffeta, with matching cummerbund and sash, a white picture hat and gloves. Miss Lois Crawford of Wingnam, sister of the groom, and Mrs. Stan Iliseler of Orillia, sister of the bride, were bridesmaids. They were dressed in gowns similar to The maid of honor, but wore white over green taffeta and all -carried cascade bouquets of white carna- tions. . The flower girl was Marlene Armstrong, of R.R.2, Lucknow, Her dress was mauve embossed organdy and she carried a basket of white porn-pons and pink carnations. William Crawford, of Wingham, brother ,of the groom, was best, man a.nd Bill Young of 13Syth was the ring bearer.
