have been holidaying at Port Elgin,
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Allan and
family of VirginiatoWn, Northern
Ontario, visited with Mrs. Allan's
sister, Mrs. Wilmer Nuhn and Mr,
Nuhn. Myrna and Anne Nuhn re-
turned to their home here with
their aunt and uncle after a holi-
day with relatives in the north,
Miss Louise Mitchell and Mr. Ce-
cil Clarke of Ethel spent Sunday
at Niagara. Falls. Gerald Mitchell
of Gorrie accompanied them.
Miss Helen Adams spent last
week with her friend, Miss Sandra
Bradley at Goderich. Miss Bradley
returned with Helen on Monday
and will Visit thia.week at' the' Ad-
ams home,
Mrs. Prank "Wright has moved
from her farm hoine on. Con. 15 to
Mr. Bert Wright's house in Gorrie.
Mr. Wright has been a patient in
the Hanover Hospital for several
months.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wade at-
tended a Wade reunion at Riverside
Park in Guelph on Sunday.
Mr. Alex Casemore was found in
a coma in his home last Wednes-
day.. He was removed to Palmers-
ton Hospital and at the time of
writing had not recovered con-
sciousness.

Toronto and his sister, Mrs. Vera
Gamble, renewed old acquaintances
in the village on Thursday.
First of the playoffs in tri-county
baseball with Kurtzville was play-
ed at Gorrie last Wednesday eve-
ning. Score was Gorrie 3, Hurts-
ville 2.
Miss Irene Holmes and Mr. H. V.
Holmes accompanied by Miss Alicia
Coulter of Toronto, spent last Tues-
day at Clinton and Goderich.
Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Whitfield
spent last Wednesday in London.

Lucknow were guests of Mr. and
Mrs, T. L. McInnes on Sunday.

visited with Miss Emma Irwin and

tended a 50th anniversary Woman's
Association celebration on Sunday
afternoon at Salem United Church,
near Clifford.

Ward, R.R. 1, Atwood. Edith re-
