and Mrs, George Gibson were in
charge of the WA meeting on Tues-
day last. week, A poem, -"The
Yard Stick" was followed by sing-
ing a hymn and a questionnaire
was conducted on "Am I a Good
Citizen?"
Miss Bush read the Scripture and
the commentary was "It takes cour-
age to live creatively today." A
hymn and prayer closed the de-
votions.
The group donated $2.00 toward
an organ for boys' camp. The
Huron Presbytery WA semi-annual
will be held at Blyth October 26,
The Wroxeter group has been ask-
ed to give afternoon devotions.
-The WA will cater to the WMS
north sectional meeting. in Wrox-
eter church this fall. Members were
reminded of the CGIT African
night Awe 23rd and asked to at-
tend.

Francis Streets, which they recent-
ly purchased from Mr. and Mrs.
Miller Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Davis
are living in their new home on

yesterday for Birmingham, Mich.,
and expect to return home Wed-
nesday night.

ATTEND REUNION
WROXETER --The annual Ed-
gar reunion was held In the com.-
Munity hall; Wroxeter, on Satur-
day with a large, attendance.. The
president, Ken Edgar, assisted by
the reception committee, Wesley
Strong and Sandy Edgar, welcont,
ed the guests.
The sports events, including bail
games, took place in the park. The
Mersey Brothers entertained with
music and songs -and contests
were conducted.
A bountiful dinner aria supper
were served in the hall.

Met in Seaforth
WROXETER -- Twenty-six at-
tended the eighth annual Hart re-
union at Seaforth Lions Park on
Saturday, where an enjoyable af-
ternoon was spent,
There were races: for the children
and a 'candy scramble. Those at-
tending were from Kingsville, Lon-
don, Goderich, Brussels, Listowel,
Seaforth and Wroxeter,
Due to illness the attendance
was small, 'but plans for a larger
gathering were made for 1961, when
it will be held in Seaforth Park on
June 27th with the following of,

greeted guests 'from Hamilton,
London, Ancestor . and Toronto, as
well as the surrounding district.
For their wedding trip to Cape
Cod, Mrs. MeLcan wore a powder
blue sheath dress with matching
jacket, bone accessories and it cor-
sage of rose carnations. They 'will
live in London.

Sharpe on Saturday afternoon,
when she became the bride of Don-
ald Keith McLean, The bateau
neckline was jewelled and the
sleeves were lily-point. The flow-
ing skirt was on princess lines and
fell into a full back with alternate
tiers of lace and tulle. Her fin-
ger-tip, -silk illusion veil with -hand
rolled edge was caught into a Vic-
torian crown of lace and jewels,
and she carried White carnations
and pink-rosebuds,
Rev, Peter Renner performed the
ceremony In the Teeswater United
Church, Frank Renwick sang "'The
Wedding, Prayer" and "The Lord's
Prayer".
The bride is the ,laughter of Mr,
and Mrs. Walter Sharpe of Tees-
Water and the groom is the son of
Mr. and, Mrs. Grant McLean, Wing-
ham. Mr. Sharpe gave his daugh-
ter in marriage.
Miss Vera Sharpe of Teeswater
was the maid of honor and Miss
Lillian Smyth of Wingham and
Miss Elaine Stella of. Wroxeter
were 'bridesmaids. They wore
at the Royal. York Hotel.

B.C., spent last week with their
cousin, Mrs, Donald Rae. Other

of Preston. Mr. J. W. Coulter of
Stratford was a visitor at the same
home on Friday.

mer's nephew, Cpl. George A. Bal-
ser and Mrs. Balser of the RCAF
at Aylmer.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wenger
and family visited on Sunday with
her sister, Mrs. Ken Dowd, Mr,
Dowd and family, near Milverton.

and Billie spent Sunday in Simcoe
with Mr. Brown's family.
—Mrs. Jean Crump left for To-
ronto on. Wednesday of last week
because of the illness of her sis-
ter, Mrs, Mutrie, who suffered a
heart attack.
.—Visiting with Mrs. Blachford
for a week are her sister, Mrs. Ir-
ene Tebbe, of Stonewall, Man., and
Mrs. Tebbe's daughter, Mrs. Hen-
ry Myers and her three children,
Carol, Brian and Henry of St. Ad-
olphe, Man,
—Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pocock
and Mrs. Frank Rogers motored to
Canandaigua, N.Y., last Friday and
spent a very enjoyable week-end
at Le Tourneau Camp beside Lake
Canandaigua, Mr. Pocock remain-
ed for a week to help Mr, Rogers
with some carpentry work at the
camp.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman -Hastings
and Heather, of Willowdale, visited
with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.
Hastings, over the week-end.

Miss Mona Allen of Toronto Vis-
ited with relatives in Wingham for
a couple of days last week.

that he -has successfully completed
his first year at the University of
