BLUEVALE—A capacity congre-
gation met in Knox Presbyteriar
Church on Sunday to celebratf
their 102nd anniversary. Thr
church was beautifully decorated
with large baskets of pink and
white peonies, with canaries on
either side of the pulpit to bring
sweet Music during the service,
Rev. W. .1. S. McClure of Moles-
worth brought an inspiring mes-
sage from Acts 20:28, dealing with
the farewell address of Paul. He
stressed fellowChip in the church
of today. The church should he a
channelfor the spirit of God, he
said. It must be eoncerned for the
people outside, or it has lost its
vitality.
The choir, led by the organist,
Mrs. _Nora Moffatt, sang two an-
them, "Lead Me, Lord", and "The
Forty-Seeond Psalm".
At the evdning service a, large
congregation was present to enjoy

BLUEVALE—The Mission Band
met in the United Qhurch during
the service on Sunday with an at-
tendance of 30. Mrs: A. H, Neelon
was in charge of the older group
which worked on a mural, showing
a Biblical theme. Mrs. Mel Craig
directed the juniors, in coloring ap-
propriate designs. The members
regretted that this would be the
last meeting with Mrs, Neelon as
leader, She' was presented with a
gift from the children who had
been in her care for the last two
years.

nual bus trip the pupils of Blue-
vale school enjoyed a different
form of entertainment at the home
of their teacher, Miss Berva Gal-
laher, Wroxeter, on Friday.
The setting was a large barn
with tables spread with a dinner
of turkey and the good things that
