was held' in 'the United Church
Sunday School rooms, After the
worship service and roll call, birth-
day greetings were' sung to Karen
Brown, Barry Matthews, BObby
Clarkson, Charles Gibson. and
Jimmy .Riehards,
Mrs, E. Harding read the. story
to the senior group. Classes divid-
ed for their, usual .studies, Mrs. R.
Gibson took the junior group for
their story , and African , gaines
were also played,. The next meet-
ing in July will be in the form of
a, picnic, date to, be announced
later.

FORDWICH---The Juno meeting
Of St. Anne's •.GUild, 'of ...Trinity
Church "met at the home of Mrs.
Don King with the president Mrs.
W. Hargrave, presiding. Miss Rona
VanVelsor gave a splendid report
on the Workshop whiCh 'she attend-
ed at Huron College. Miss Elva
Foster was appointed 'assistant
secretary to help the present secre-
tary, Mrs. Mary Kato, who at
present is not too, well. Two do-
nations were made to the church
and alSo a donation to the Altar
Guild. '
It ,was decided to hive a box
fixed' for the•Silverware.- Membcrs
are, ietninded that there will be no
meeting in July. During the even-
ing some quilting 'was. done on the
quilt !donated ;by Mrs. Bruce Arm-
strong. Rev. E. Attwell spoke a
few words to the grOup and then
closed the 'meeting with prayer.
Mrs. George Holland conducted two
contests, Lunch was served by
the hostess, assisted by Mrs. Nelson
Armstrong.

FORDWIOR.--Trinity W.A. Meet-
ing was held at the home of Mrs.
Robert Allan with. the president
Mrs. Ruby Foster, presiding. :The
roeeall was answered by 1.4 Mem-
bers with, a verse from St, John.
Mrs. E, Hargrave was in .eharge
of the study book, assisted by Mrs,
B. Ferguson, Mrs, Elsie 'Strong,
Mrs, Mina Armstrong and Miss
Elva Foster. Mrs. Strong gave a
report on 'the Workshop at Huron
College, which she recently attend-
ed. MrS:. B. Hargrave reported on
the spring Deanery held. in Wing-
ham. Meeting closed with prayer.
Lunch was served by the hostess
assisted by Mrs, E. Ferguson.

Regular Meeting
(Intended for last week)
FORDWICH.--The regular meet-
ing of the Fordwich United Church
WA was held in the' SUndp•Y School
room with 25 ladies 'preSent. The
president, Mrs. Glenn Johnston,
and secretary, Mrs, William Cattle-
bell, were in charge. The theme of
the meeting was-"The Fruit of the
Spirit' and opened with a hymn
and prayer,
The Scripture, taken from Gal-
atians,. was read by Mrs. George
Richards and the comments by
Miss 'Minnie McElwain, The minu-
tes were read and approved and
final arrangements were made for
the garden party..
It was decided to hold a bazaar
in the fall and members and all
ladies of the church are asked to
prepare for it. The meeting closed
with prayer and three members
served lunch.

is spending a month at her home
here, Miss Mary Corbett of Tor-
onto is spending this week with
her,
Mr. Doug Wildfang of Toronto
spent the week-end with Mr. and
Mrs. Roy Simmons, Mrs. Wildfang
returned 'home with him after
visiting a few clays here.
Mr. and Mrs. Barry McKnight
and family of Simcoe visited 'Sun-
day with Mr. and Mrs, Jack Boyd.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wilding of
Toronto spent the week-end 'with
Mr. and Mrs, Anson Demerling,
Mrs. George Baker attended a
reunion held Saturday in Hanover.
Mr. and Mrs. Ken Jacklin of
Kitchener spent the week-end here
and .attended the Steinacker-Ag-
new wedding in Elmwood on
Saturday.
Mr. and. Mrs. Bob Campbell and
family visited Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. George ,Moss in 'Galt.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Graham of
St. Marys visited with Mr. and
Mrs, Harry Lohr on Sunday and
also attended the first of the cen-
tennial services in Trinity Angli-
can Church.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs.
Dalie Steinaeker. (nee Jean Agnew)
who were married Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob 'Sanderson, Mr.
and Mrs. Dave Dinsmore, Mrs.

Steinacker-Agnew wedding Satur-
day in Elmwood.
Nine members of Howick Ladies'
Auxiliary attended a church ser-
vice in Brussels United Church
Sunday and later a social time
was spent in the Legion Hall.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pollock
visited with the former's mother,
Mrs. James Pollock, on Friday at
St. Joseph's Hospital, London.
Miss Ruth Johnston of Toronto
spent the week-end with her
mother, Mrs. Agne's Johnson,
pilr. and Mrs. Keith Ridley and
Terry Lee of London, spent Sunday
with Mrs. Dora Ridley.
Mr. and Mrs. Aiteheson Wallace
spent Saturday in London.
Mr. and Mrs. Crosby Sothern
attended the Slater reunion held in
Strathroy, Saturday.

vices were held Sunday morning in
Trinity Anglican Church, with a
fattier rector Rev. Frank Russel,
now of Owen Sound, as guest
speaker, After the service, lunch
was served, Nod Sunday Rev.
John Ball will be guest speaker.
Everyone is very welcome.
