1husband of Hazel Pennington, in
his 76th year. Remains are rest-
ing at the Schuett funeral home,
allildmay, until Wednesday, when
funeral service will be held at
the McIntosh United Church at
2.30 p.m. Interment at the Mc-
Intosh Cemetery. He leaves to
mourn his wife, three sons, Orval
of Kitchener; Roy of Toronto and
• Everett at home, and one daugh-
ter, Ethel (Mrs. William Willis)
Wingham. One son prede-
ceased him. Also surviving are
three brothers, Albert of Gorrie,
Fred of Carrick and Oliver of
Lloydminster, Sask., and one sis-
ter, Mrs. Janet Hartford of Mild-
may.

TUCK—Mr, Stuart Tuck, formerly
of Clifford, passed away very,
suddenly in Windsor hospital on
Thursday morning in his 51st
year. He is survived by his wife
and two sons, Gerald and Ron-
ald. He is the son of Mrs.
Albert Tuck of Clifford and
brother of Mrs. Cliff Hanks of
Guelph: Funeral took place in
Windsor on Saturday..

Died in Toronto
There Passed away in Toronto
East General Hospital on Monday,
Ma.y'30th, Bert Wallace, son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. James Wallace.
He was born on the .9th concession
of Turnberry' Township 75 years
ago.
The family moved to Jamestown
when he was a, boy; where they
made their home for several year,
later moving to (Detroit. After the
passing of his parents -he married
Edithe Mitchell, of ,Toronto, where
they have tesideallar several years
airier to his deatita,
aCal(fr. Wallace 'Maiias to Mourn his
passing his wife; of Toronto, and
two sisters, (Ella), Mrs. William
Grimmer, of Preston, and (Mary),
Mrs. Lawrence Willis, of James-
town, also a number of nieces and
nephews.
The funet'al was -held the fol-
lowing Thursday with interment in
Toronto.
Electrical Shock

last week at Parkhill, her mother,
Mrs. Agnes Boughner, two weeks
,ago received a heavy shock of
electricity, when lightning came In
on the TV wires and burned out
the Wiring and tubes.
She was taken toa nursing home
at Parkhill for a few days, but
passed away last Monday. Burial
Was en Thursday last.

tient in Wingham General Hos-
pital for several weeks, was able
to return -home on Wednesday.

children, of Maple, spent the. week-
end at the home of her sister.

eter. The Wilson family move in
July from Exeter -to London, Where
Mr. Wilson has 'been employed for
some time.

in the United Church here on Sun-
day, at 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., with
Rev. T. C. Wilkinson, of St. Marys
as special minister -for the day.

children, of Goderich, visited on

queline Hanna, of Toronto, spent
the week-end with the former's'
parents; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin
Smyth. They and 'Mrs. Smyth on
Saturday attended a trousseau tea
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Sharpe, of Teeswater, held in honor
of the approaching marriage of
their daughter, 'Miss Ruth Sharpe.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Lewis,
of Grimsby, spent the week-end
with her father, Mr. F. McK. Pat-
erson.
Mr. and Mrs. Cameron Simmons
and Nancy, of London,. spent the
week-end with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Martin and with other
relatives here and at Wingham.
Cameron returned home last week
from Nova Scotia., where he has
been on construction work for the
past five weeks.

McINTOSH The June meeting
of :the McIntosh WMS was hem
at the home of Mrs. Alex Sangster
with an attendance of eleven ladies
and two. -children.
Mrs. Gordon Wright ,was* leader
and the meeting opened by singing
the hymn, "0 for a Faith That
Will Npt Shrink,': followed by the
SC'ripture reading also taken by the
leader.
Mrs, Eldon Renwick gave very
interesting reading, folloWed. by
the roll call which was answered
by something out of the 'United
Church Observer; The minutes were
read and approved.
Mrs, Gordon Wright and Mrs.
Elmer Haikins sang a duet, and a
chapter from the study hook was
read by Mrs. Jack Ferguson. The
leader closed the meeting with
prayer and lunch was served.
