Mother's Funeral
In Quebec Today
Bernice Florence Lawson, wife of
Henry 3, Lawson, died early Mon.,
day marling at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Donald Cameron,
Victoria Street. She was in her
63rd year.
Mrs. Lawson had been sick for
some time, She and her husband
lived M Montreal until her ill
health necessitated giving up their
home about a year ago. They have
resided with members of their
family since then and Mrs, Lawson
came to the Cameron home sev-
eral months ago,
Surviving are her husband, a
Lon, James Lawson of Ottawa, and
two daughters, Mrs. Peter,Place of
Montreal and Mrs, Donald Cam-
eron of Wingham. There are eight
grandchildren,
The funeral will take place this'
afternoon (Wednesday) in Rock-
burn, Quebec, with burial in Rock-
burn.
Mr. and Mrs. Cameron and family
and Mr. Lawson left for Rock-
burn on Monday 'morning.

'Chalmers Church
'vV,HITECHURCH—Successful an-
niversary services were held on
Sunday in Chalmer's Presbyterian
Church. Rev. Mr. McClure of
Molesworth preached morning and
evening, and the choir rendered
special anthems and quartet num-
bers.
The church was prettily decorat-
ed with baskets of lilacs and tu-
lips, which are beautiful at this
time. Many friends of this con-
gregation attended at each service. /

the setting in St. Paul's Presby-
terian Church, Carluke, at seven
o'clock Friday, May 20th, when
the Rev. Stephen Lookman united

Mundell, to Larry Cameron Stew-
art, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar

-the bride wore a pale blue sheath
dress of silk organza with full
skirted organza coat and matching
head-band. She carried a white
Bible crested with orchids and ste-
phanotis.

ter, Mrs. Robert Chanter's, of Dun-
das, who wore a pale pink silk or-
ganza dress and matching head-
band. Her bouquet was a nosegay
of pink carnations.
Lyn Stewart,: of London, brother
of the, groom, was best man and
the usher was Neil McFaddon of
Brantford.
Mrs. Alex 'Corrigan, of Bluevale,
aunt of the bride, played the wed-
ding music•and Mrs. Edwin Johns-
ton wag soloist.
Guests were present from Lon-
don, Brantford, Hamilton, Dundas
and Wingham. They were•received
at Mundy's Hotel, 'Hamilton, at 8
p.m. by the bride's -mother, wearing
a blue lace dress and eorsage of
roses.
Mr. and Mrs. Stewart left on a
wedding -trip to Northern Ontario,
They will live in Brantford where
the bride is on the teaching staff
of the -Brantford Board of Educe-
