Mr. and Mrs, Harvey Copeland of Wroxeter spent Wednesday evening with Mr. and :Mrs, Harry Gowdy. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Cooke and Nadine were in. Toronto for the week-end and attended the silver wedding anniversary of Mrs. Cooke's sister, Mrs. Thompson and Mr. William Thompson, at Satur- day. Forty guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Will and family of Kingsville spent the Easter week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Justin Will, Mr, Leland Ashton, Toronto, and Mr. Sturton Ashton, Hamilton, spent a couple of days 10t week with their uncle, Mr. Hilton Ashton and Mrs. Ashton. Mr. Edwin Day, Mr. Earl Under- wood, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Under- wood attended the funeral of a cousin in Milverton on Monday of last Week. Mrs. Mabel Musgrove received word recently of the death. of Mrs. Ina Sage of Port Huron, Michigan. She was the former Ina, Musgrove and a resident of 'Gerrie several years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn King and three sons of Peterborough. Mr Jack King, Dr; and Mrs. Wendell Gott and family, Toronto, were visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Frank King during the holiday week-end, Mr. and Mrs, Murray Ham!ltor and Ross of Toronto spent the Easter week-end with Mr. and Mrs Hector Hamilton, Gravel roads throughout , the township have been very bad this spring. Cars and trucks get stuck and have to be pulled out by trac- tors, Miss Florence Edwards, Wind- sor, and Mrs, Jean MacDonald, London, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs, W. C. King and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Blythe and family of Milton spent Easter with Mr. and Mrs. Ken Mastic. Jacqueline and Karen returned home with them after spending a couple of weeks with their -grand- parents, Tom Hastie and Norman Lawson of Toronto were holiday visitors at the same home. We extend sincere sympathy to Mrs. J. E, Clarke, whose mother, Mrs. A. J. Love, wife of the Rev. Love of Hamilton, passed away on Good Friday. Mrs. Clarke went to Hamilton on Friday and Rev Clarke after the Easter service on Sunday. Mrs. J. W. Hird returned home from the Palmerston Hospital on Thursday. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Robinson on Good Friday and on Saturday were mrs..Mary Graham,. Mr. and Mrs. James Graham, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Kennedy, Mr. Alexander Graham and Miss Joy Bessy, all of Toronto and Miss Marlon Robinson, Kitchener.
