AT WMS MEMO
FORDWICH-The Easter meet-
ing of the Women's Missionary :So-
ciety of the Fordwich United
Church met in the church with the
president, Mrs. Stanley Bride, lit
charge. The associate members
were special guests. The roll call,
"What Easter Means", was answer-
ed by 35.
Mrs. Crosby Sothern and Mrs.
George Ashton gave their reports
on the Presbyterial held in Sea-
forth. Mrs. Margaret /VfcGoffin
the shut in for April. Mrs. J. W.
Hird was also remembered, The
Spring Thankoffering is to be •held
on May 15th with Mrs, Jackson of
Atwood as guest speaker.
Miss Minnie 'McElwain and Mrs,
George Richards rendered a lovely
duet. Mrs, Harold Pollock offered
prayer. A. film on'the Easter story
was shown by Mrs. Cecil Wilson
as Mrs, Wray Cooper and Mrs.
Ben Gibson read the meditation.
They were assisted by Mrs, George
Richards and Miss Minnie McEl-
wain with Mrs. Kenneth Graham
at the piano.
Mrs, Ross Dolg and. Mrs. Cecil
Wilson read the passages of Scrip-
ture, Mrs. Mel Taylor closed the
meeting and a social hour was
spent.
