WHITECHURCH—A good crowd
attended the variety concert in the
memorial hall here last Thursday
night, despite the heavy fog.
Charles Moore was the chairman
for the occasion, and Gentile Mc-
Crea, Sharon Edwards, and Stan-

their excellent numbers on their
accordions, All enjoyed the vqcal
solos, and duets, and other musical
numbers, John Willis called off
for the square dance, worked out
by the S.S. No..1.0 pupils, and Mrs.
Victor Emerson gave a humorous
reading, "The Delinquent Cus-
tomer",
The Live-a-borrowed Life panel
planned by Mrs, W. E. Beecroft,
proved interesting, J. D. Reecreft
acted as M.C., and Mrs. Victor
Emerson kept track of the points
for each side, Mrs. George Fisher

Metcalfe, chose the life of Charles
Dickens, Mrs. Mel Mathers, the life
of W. T. Cruicicshank, of CKNX,
and Mrs. J. D. Beecroft, Nurse Ann
Henry, of New York City, and a
native of the 2nd Con., of Kinloss.
