Morton of Kincardine had charge
of the SerVice in the Presbyterian, Church here on Sunday.
Carloads of young folks were
skiing and toboganning on Bee-
croft's hill on Sunday. Again the
snow was joist right and a nice
sunny day for the outing.
Mr. Thomas McGlynn of Wing
ham was in the village on Friday

Day of Prayer meeting: was held
on. Friday in the S.S. room. of the
Presbyterian Church, with ZO

Mrs, James Falconer and Mrs.
Dawson Craig or. charge of the
four parts of the progrant.
Mrs. Walter Lott gave two read-
ings, "Prayer", and "The Kneeling
Camel", and Mrs Dan Tiffin plar,
ed a piano solo, "Sabbath Chimes",
The special prayers were - talfen by
Mrs, Russell Ross, Mrs. J. 1 Bee-
croft, Mrs, Victor Peterson„ Mrs.
Iii. Ii Groskorth, and Mrs, John-
ston Conn, Mrs, Milan Moore
gave an interesting talk an the
World Day of. Prayer, saying that
it bad been started in. United.

National Day of Prayer. Then
Canada joined, and the Salvation

lands joined, until the day has
taken on meaning and, power,
through prayer the world over.
Mrs. Moore gave several illustra-
tions of how people are labourers

services held in Japan alone, and
over 350 in braille for the blind.
Last year over $49,000, was raised
for the Women's Inter-Church
Council of Canada. Mrs. Russell
Ross was key-woman for the past
year, and Mrs, Dan Tiffin was
aninointed for 1.96D. Mrs, Dawson
Craig closed the meeting with the
