1st Wingham Cubs, Pack A, on
Monday evening, Assistant Cub
Leader Penny. Gerrie passed sev-
eral tests 'while Scouter Bob Mc-

Harold. Jardin passed the "grow-
ing things" test and Wayne -Gordon
the reading test in the First Star
series. Mike ,Forsyth passed the
Second Star knots, and Grant
Currie the Second Star reading,
Brian Caslick was awarded his
toymalter proficiency badge. Akela
Bill Rintoul presented First Stars
to Wayne Gordon and Harold
Jardin, who have passed all ten of
their tests for the star,

Win and Lose
GORRIE—The Gerrie Iaterntecl-
iates played in Harriston on Mon-
day night of last week and were
beaten by one goal. The final
score Was Harriston 3, Gerrie 2.
At the Belmore arena on Friday
night they tangled With Clifford
and again came out on the low end
of the 7 to 5 tally.
The Pee Wees played three
games 'last week. On Tuesday at
Belmore they defeated Belmore 0-0.
On Wednesday evening they jeur-
neyed to Fordwich and again won
by a score of 9-3, but on Friday
night at a home game, when they'
encouatered -Kurtzville, the visitors
took the game 9-3,
The Midgets played. TeviOtdale on
Friday night and came through
with a win of 11-5, It was their
only game of the week,

Pack B of the 1st Wingham.
Cubs held their weekly meeting on
Thursday night with, 31 boys, pres-
ent. The meeting opened with the
Grand Howl, conducted by Aasis-I-
'tant Leaders, Barbara Pickford,
Bob Rintoul and Byron Adams,
Games were played and several.
First Star tests were -`passed.

Greg Carter, Richard Wharton,

The Wiarton Redmen defeated
the Dodgers in a game at the
Wingham arena last Saturday
night, which gave them the lead
in the presqat WOAA Intermediate
series by 'four points over the
Dodgers, The score in Saturday's
game was 8-4 for the visiting team.
Doug Murray, Bill Lockridge,
Jim Campbell and Barry Fryfogle
scored the four winning goals.

In Playoff Series
Wayne Henry scored two goals
for the Wingham Midgets, and Don
Lee. and' Paul Jardin one each
