House was the centre of social and cultural.
life in London. The residence of the Harris
family for four generations, the House is
the oldest surviving private dwelling in
London.
Eldon House will recapture the smells and
sights of a traditional Victorian Christmas
when the Garden Club of London has
decorated the House, Dec. 4. The House
will be open for group tours Dec. 10-20 by
appointment. and to the general public
Dec. 26-30, 2-8 p.m., Dec. 31, 2-5 p.m.
Eldon House will then be closed until
March 1 for annual spring house-cleaning.
